I love birds, they fascinate me, their colors, patterning, the shape of them, they can fly! So I wanted to elevate the branding of the National Aviary, and modernize it. While still being exciting and approachable, I wanted it to look beautiful just like the birds it protects and cares for.

I created signage to help visitors identify birds and learn a little about them. I chose typefaces that simple enough to be read from far away but still had some personality.Along with some collateral that could be sold in the gift shop like patches and a birder’s book along with a promotional calendar.
